Owner and CEO of Crown Transportation, Ricky
Prevatt, a native of Savannah, began his transportation career
in Savannah, GA, in 1981 as a billing clerk for a local drayage
company and by 1983 had formed his own company which is today
known as Crown Transportation. Mr. Prevatt gives credit for the
company’s continuous success to a straight forward work
ethic
and the assemblage of honest, hard working people with like
goals and a passion for the business. Over the past 25 plus years the company has continued to
grow and thrive, which Mr. Prevatt attributes to the company’s
ability to adapt to its customers needs and desires. “We
understand we have to do more than pick up a container and
deliver it to the customer. We engage each client and try
to find ways to help them save money, and in many cases we have
saved them millions”.
Today, Crown Transportation is much more than an
Intermodal Trucking Company. We now offer complete
transportation solutions for our clients. We are truly a
one-stop shop. In seamless harmony with our
sister company, Cross Dock USA, Inc., we specialize in Crossdocking
and Distribution for our

30+ company owned local trucks insures you of quick cargo pick
